Application procedure
For information on the procedure for applying to the architecture course that is offered by the Department of
Environmental Engineering and Architecture at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, please see the
Graduate School of Environmental Studies website.
【Regarding the English language examination as part of the Graduate School entrance procedure】
Given the 2013 academic year’s application procedure (implemented in the 2012 academic year),
the Department of Environmental Engineering and Architecture’s architecture course no longer sets a written English language examination
in the first round of applications (master’s and doctorate), the fall round of applications (doctorate), or the second round of applications (master’s).
Instead, candidates are asked to submit evidence of their performance in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or
the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) examinations. For details,
please see “Admissions” on the Graduate School of Environmental Studies website.
